Traffic Records 101 gives highway safety professionals the basics of what a traffic records information system is as well as providing an in-depth understanding of what a comprehensive traffic records system covers. The training can be taken on the Internet and may be accessed in the office, at home, or while on travel, and may be covered at the user's own pace. As the field of Traffic Records continues to transform through new technology and information, the curriculum will grow with more advanced courses that will keep you up-to-date with the latest trends. Online examinations are available at the end of each module to test your comprehension. During this workshop, participants will:
- Gain an overview of what traffic records information systems looks like;
- Obtain and in-depth understanding of the different components that create an effective traffic records information system;
- Understand what is considered good data: quality, quantity, timeliness, and completeness;
- Obtain a certificate of completion.
