Problems in Bus Collision Investigation

Audience

Individuals tasked with assembling the documentation from all sources or systems of the organization, assessing contributing factors, and determining probable cause; all levels of managers and supervisors; and trainers of bus operators.

Description

This course involves an intensive and extensive calculation of complex speed estimates and mathematical formulas including time and distance relationships. Participants will employ advanced collision investigation techniques and methodologies to identify and analyze skid marks, enhance photographic documentation, and identify contributing factors to injuries and damage as they relate to speed in pedestrian and motorcycle collisions. The participants should gain competency in recommending and implementing safety improvements to prevent and reduce collisions including property damage, injuries, and litigation.
