Audience

All levels of transit managers and supervisors, bus operator trainers, and investigators responsible for developing, administering, and implementing policies and procedures relating to bus collision investigation.

Description

This seminar provides a condensed compilation of information taught in several of TSI's Bus Collision Investigation courses and explains the many elements and systems that play a role in contributing to the probable cause of a collision or incident. The seminar highlights how proper investigation techniques and methodologies assist in reducing liability claims and collision frequency, including some hidden and direct costs. This seminar emphasizes to management the critical need for accurately documenting evidence at the scene to better facilitate reconstruction of collisions, should litigation arise.
